Preparing for the 2010 Proxy Season and Beyond

Breakfast Briefing

Cooley Godward Kronish

San Diego, CA 92121
02/17/2010
7:30 AM - 9:30 AM

Corporate Governance continues to be an area of focus for the SEC as well as pending legislation before Congress. Recently, the SEC adopted new rules requiring increased disclosure about risk, executive compensation, and corporate governance matters. These rules will impact the information provided in your proxy statement and the way that information is collected and assessed.  In some cases, these new rules may impact how your Board handles certain governance matters.

Join our panel of legal and auditing professionals to learn about new hot button issues and how recent SEC proxy rule changes will affect your company and shareholders. Our interactive workshop will discuss the new rules and how you can best prepare for the 2010 Proxy Season and address related issues that might impact your company beyond the 2010 proxy season.
