Mobile Communications

  • Represented Qualcomm in patent license and acquisition agreements with Broadcom and Nokia, which resulted in the settlement of all litigation worldwide between Qualcomm and these two companies
  • Represented Aircell in negotiations with American Airlines to be the first national commercial airline to offer AirCell's GoGo™ onboard broadband service. Launched in August 2008. Also negotiating with Delta Air Lines on behalf of Aircell

Clean Technologies

  • Represented Abound Solar in forming a strategic relationship with Cardinal Glass, the largest US glass supplier, to ramp up production of CdTe PV modules and provide glass for Abound's large-scale production facilities
  • Represented Applied Materials in deals involving the sale of solar module production lines to customers in Asia, Europe and the Middle East

Information Technologies

  • Represented eBay in its agreements with Google Inc., appointing Google the exclusive text-based advertising provider for eBay outside the United States and providing for the integration and launch of "click-to-call" advertising functionality in each company's shopping and search platforms
  • Represented Adobe Systems in its multi-year, multinational distribution agreement with Google Inc. for the bundling of the Google Toolbar with Adobe products, such as the Macromedia Flash Player
  • Represented Intuit, Inc. in its agreement with Google Inc. to enable small businesses to use QuickBooks to market themselves online

Communications

  • Represented TiVO Inc. in its strategic agreements with Comcast Corporation and Cox Communications. These were TiVO's first licensing deals with major cable operators
  • Represented AOL in its agreement with Omniture, Inc. to provide analytics across AOL's worldwide properties and services
